If in your WordPress Site Health dashboard you see the message The optional module, iconv, is not installed, or has been disabled, you have the possibility to correct it with some changes.

Shared Hosting

In case you have your website with WordPress on a shared hosting, you will need to contact your provider and ask them to activate the PHP iconv extension.

VPS / Dedicated

By default, PHP when installed natively incorporates the PHP iconv extension.

cPanel Control Panel

If you have cPanel/WHM control panel, you can install PHP iconv from the Software/EasyApache/Customize section.

Once there, in the PHP Extensions section you can search for “iconv” and activate the corresponding options.
