Getting Started with WordPress Security

Last Revised: October 2, 2021

WordPress is a secure, open source and community-maintained system which makes it easily updatable as soon as any problems are detected.

WordPress is a system composed of many elements, some developed by third parties, which must be updated and maintained.

This document will provide simple solutions (although sometimes complex to implement) that must serve as a basis for your configuration and maintenance. The plugins, templates or solutions that are given must serve as a guide so, in most cases, we recommend you contact a System Administrator (SysAdmin) to help with the most complex configurations.

IMPORTANT: If you don’t know what you’re doing, you better not touch.
